Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Liberal Stomper (ranked 243 p4p, 35 weight class) and Harvey Stallion (ranked 680 p4p, 87 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Stallion's choice of entrance music: Ozzy Osborne - Crazy Horse. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Liberal Stomper!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Harvey Stallion!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Stallion misses the target.
Stallion shoots in looking for a takedown. Stomper tries to sprawl out of it but Stallion keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stomper manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Stallion fails with the takedown.
Stallion tries to clinch but Stomper is having none of it.
Stomper is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stallion.
Stallion drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Stomper defends it well.
Stallion shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Liberal Stomper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harvey Stallion.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stallion wants to clinch up but Stomper keeps it at a distance.
A punch lands to the side of Stallion 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Stallion feints and as Stomper raises his hands in defense, Stallion changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Stallion shoots in but Stomper avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Stallion changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stomper tries to avoid it but Stallion manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stomper to the ground. Stomper escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Stallion moves into the clinch.
Stomper prevents the takedown attempt.
Stomper wants to break free but Stallion has control.
Stomper is trying to break the clinch but Stallion has him pressed against the cage.
Stallion is trying to pull guard but Stomper turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Stallion's coach down at Chris Leben KO Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Stallion's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Stomper really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Stallion shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stomper as he jumps to the side.
Stomper is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

I think Stallion has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
