PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Busul (ranked 1687 p4p, 99 weight class) and Trejean Dugall (ranked 2019 p4p, 112 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Busul might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Damian Marley - Road to Zion ft. Nas. The key to victory for Frankie Busul has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frankie Busul!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Trejean Dugall!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dugall bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Busul's head backwards.
Dugall lands with a hook. Busul tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
A slow jab from Busul misses its intended target.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Dugall fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Busul manages to avoid it.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dugall has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Dugall cracks Busul with a right hand to the side of the head.
Busul throws a shot from downtown. Dugall moves away and avoids it.
Busul throws a looping overhand right but Dugall ducks down to avoid it.

Dugall shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Dugall was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Busul wants to get back to his feet but Dugall is dominant here and he's now got Busul's back!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dugall has his foot on Busul's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Busul works his way back into a safe position though.

We've been hearing good reports from Busul's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Dugall isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Busul stacks Dugall on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Busul!

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Busul tries to roll over but Dugall keeps him under control.
Frankie Busul has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Dugall is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Busul sees it coming and defends easily.

Trejean Dugall comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Dugall has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
