0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wong Kei Ying! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kei Ying throws a right hand that misses
and Kent counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kei Ying won't be happy with that. Kei Ying tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Kent looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Kent looking to control and managing it successfully. Kent is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Kei Ying is surviving well by controlling Kent's body position as best he can. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kei Ying is in all sorts of trouble here.
Kent tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Kei Ying's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Kei Ying working to try and regain half guard.
Kei Ying is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Kent really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kent has isolated one of Kei Ying's arms. Kei Ying looking to fight him off but Kent twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
