Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Croc Bot (ranked 3038 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Hassler (ranked 3788 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas Hassler has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Croc Bot's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Croc Bot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Thomas Hassler! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Bart Greer and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bot uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hassler. Bot displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hassler throws out the jab. Bot misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hassler misses the jab. Hassler misses with a left hand and Bot counters with a series of strikes that sends Hassler to the canvas! Bot follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight! Bot trying to control the position from guard on top but Hassler is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bot drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bot jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bot slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Hassler looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Bot is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hassler knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bot is looking to take a break and control but Hassler is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bot misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Bot has hold of Hassler's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Hassler seems comfortable defending it but Bot has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Hassler is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Hassler is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Bot couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Croc Bot!
