Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Irvine Kinneas (ranked 3561 p4p, 408 weight class) and James Adams (ranked 17168 p4p, 612 weight class). Adams has chosen Thom Pace - Maybe as his entrance music. Irvine Kinneas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, Irvine Kinneas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 9 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Adams! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adams throws a series of strikes that have Kinneas backpedaling.
It looks like Irvine Kinneas has been cut. Kinneas punishes Adams's body with a nice straight punch. Kinneas scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Adams doesn't seem bothered though. Kinneas misses with a hook. Adams ducked under it nicely. Adams is looking for the big counter here. Adams lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Adams throws a lazy uppercut
and Kinneas counters by moving into the clinch. Adams lands on the inside with an uppercut. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kinneas. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kinneas. Adams blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Adams escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kinneas throws a head kick that misses. Adams avoids the head kick by Kinneas.
Kinneas throws a leg kick but Adams sees it coming and moves out of range. Adams tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Kinneas paws at him with a jab and circles away. Adams thuds a left hand into Kinneas's body. Kinneas throws an overhand right that lands on Adams's shoulder, as Adams tries to avoid the shot. Adams fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kinneas, pushing him back against the ropes. Kinneas misses with the head strike.

Adams breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kinneas takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Adams closes the distance and pushes Kinneas back into the ropes. Adams pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kinneas ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Adams moves away. Adams throws a right hand that Kinneas ducks under and follows up with a left that Kinneas also avoids with ease. Kinneas is looking to score with low kicks. Adams moves into the clinch. Adams blocking some punches.
A head punch on the inside from Kinneas fails to land. Adams breaks from the clinch.
Adams throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Decent striking displayed by Adams there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Adams clinches up with Kinneas and pushes him back against the ropes. Kinneas tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Kinneas misses with the head strike.

Kinneas's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Adams feints a jab promting Kinneas to slip. Adams then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kinneas slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Kinneas looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. A jab from Kinneas does it's job there. Kinneas uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Adams.

Irvine Kinneas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Adams fails in his attempt to clinch. Adams tries to close the distance and clinch but Kinneas swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. James Adams is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kinneas dodges the punch combination from Adams.

Adams swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. It looked like Kinneas wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Kinneas looks to score with a jab to the body but Adams is just out of range. Kinneas is looking to wear down Adams with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Adams fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Adams ducks under a wild hook from Kinneas. Kinneas tries to move into range but Adams moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

This has been an exciting period of action! Kinneas throws the left hand but Adams avoids the punch easily. Kinneas scores with a jab to the body. Adams tries to clinch but Kinneas is having none of it. Irvine Kinneas has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Adams feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kinneass jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Adams slips a straight right by Kinneas. A swing and a miss from Adams. Kinneas on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Nice shot by Adams. Adams misses with a straight right. Kinneas is looking to counter with head kicks. Adams throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kinneas takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Adams misses with a looping left. Kinneas misses with a hook. Adams ducked under it nicely. Adams fails in his attempt to clinch. Kinneas throws a hook but Adams avoids it easily. James Adams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kinneas showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Adams.
