Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Henri Jospin (ranked 2384 p4p, 296 weight class) and Brendan Moker (ranked 3927 p4p, 438 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jospin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Clash. Henri Jospin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Henri Jospin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brendan Moker!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jospin throws a head kick that Moker semi-blocks.
Moker slips under a jab.
Moker shoots in and drives through. Jospin sprawls well.
Jospin swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Some wild striking there from Jospin.

Moker fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jospin sprawls well initially but Moker persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Moker is trying to control the action in half guard but Jospin is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Moker missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Jospin's coaches at Black City have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
Jospin is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Moker thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Moker is keen to just control but Jospin is a slippery customer.
Jospin slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Moker is fighting to break Jospin's control of his arms but Jospin is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Jospin wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Moker misses with a takedown attempt - Jospin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Moker shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jospin defends it nicely.
Henri Jospin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brendan Moker.

Jospin throws a lazy head kick

and Moker decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jospin's guard.

Jospin has his feet on Moker's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Jospin feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Mokers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Jospin swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Moker.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Moker.
Jospin lands with an overhand left.
Moker tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jospin swivels and escapes.
Jospin throws a quick counter head kick but Moker was just out of range.
Moker misses the shot to the body.
Moker staying out of range there.

Jospin paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Moker missing with a left hand there. Jospin was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jospin turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Moker shoots for a double leg takedown but Jospin sprawls well. He's pushed Moker's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Jospin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jospin throws a leg kick
and Moker connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sloppy strikes from Moker. Those never looked like landing.
Moker rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jospin counters with a lovely shot to the body.
No luck for Moker with that takedown attempt.
A little feinted left hand from Jospin on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Jospin throws a head kick but Moker moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Henri Jospin dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Jospin throws a hook but Moker avoids it easily.
Jospin walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Jospin looks to score with a jab to the body but Moker is just out of range.
Moker misses with a two punch combination.
Jospin is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Moker can do to turn this around?
Moker scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Jospin comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Moker misses with a shot to the body
and Jospin counters with a thumping low kick.
Nice defenses there by Jospin.
Jospin will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Moker pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Jospin was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Jospin stuns Moker with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Moker tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jospin was well out of range. Poor timing from Moker.
Moker misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jospin avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Moker connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Moker lands a jab to the nose.
Jospin digs a good body shot into Moker's ribs.

Moker falls off balance throwing a combination
and Jospin counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Moker throws a predictable looking body shot

and Jospin counters with a nice right hand that sends Moker toppling to the canvas! Moker scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Jospin finish him?!


Moker is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jospin lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Moker crumples to the floor! Jospin milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
