Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Conner White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zakai Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Conner White could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Zakai Turner's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Conner White! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zakai Turner! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Turner as he avoids it easily. Turner is looking to take this fight into the clinch. The fight moves into the clinch position. White breaks the clinch.
Turner tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Turner tries to clinch but White is having none of it. Turner shoots for a double leg takedown but White sprawls well. He's pushed Turner's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Turner looks gassed! White has his takedown stuffed and Turner cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Turner walks forward, straight into a front kick from White. Turner is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
White tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Turner paws at him with a jab and circles away. White shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Turner counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Turner. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Conner White. That's going to take a lot out of him. This has been an exciting period of action! White is looking to stand up but Turner isn't so interested in that idea. White wants to sweep but no luck. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. White bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Turner's guard. Turner utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Turner is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Turner tries to land a sweep but no joy. Turner wants to control but White passes easily into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. White missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. White wants to pass the guard but Turner is defending well. White landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. White has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. White tries a head kick but it misses.
White connects with the punch. White uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Turner.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White closes the distance and clinches up with Turner, looking for a takedown. White pushes Turner against the cage but Turner circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. White throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. White tries to clinch but Turner is having none of it. Turner clinches. White has had enough of the clinch but Turner keeps him there for the moment. Turner has White pushed against the cage. Turner gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from White.
White is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Turner tries for a takedown but White manages to get underhooks.
White prevents a body shot from Turner. Turner breaks the clinch.
White tries to clinch but Turner moves away and Turner counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Turner. White is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. White is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Turner is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Turner stopping the sweep attempt from White. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Turner wants to control from the top but White keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zakai Turner dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Turner misses with a series of wild punches.
Zakai Turner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. White shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Turner lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Turner looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Turner. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Turner prevents White from getting back to his feet. Turner is looking to stand up but White won't let him. White trying to keep a closed guard but Turner is proving a slippery customer.
Turner wants to control from the top but White keeps moving. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Turner might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control White kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turner looking to sit in guard and control but White gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Turner is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. White looks for a takedown but Turner sprawls well. White throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. White slips a jab and a cross from Turner.
Turner wants to clinch but White slips to the side and White counters with a one-two to the body. White tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Turner swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Conner White. That's going to take a lot out of him. Turner gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Turner breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. White lands with a right hand. White throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Turner gets a takedown into half guard. Turner stalling away here and it's allowed White to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Turner trying to control the position from guard on top but White is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Turner postures up in White's guard and throws a big left but White blocks it. White wants to stand but Turner is controlling the position. Turner looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Turner has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of White is proving hard to escape from.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Turner misses with a combination
and White counters with a nice double leg into guard. White sitting in guard here, content to control. Turner keeping moving, preventing White from controlling successfully. White stops Turner from standing up. Turner keeping moving, preventing White from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Zakai Turner will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Conner White. That's going to take a lot out of him. White moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turner throws a big shot that misses. Turner closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming White to the mat! White manages to get full guard. Turner must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Turner seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. White is working an open guard so Turner takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Turner tries a head kick but it misses.
Turner tries to clinch but White moves out of range. White lands a head kick. Turner smiles back at him and beckons him forward. White stuffs the takedown attempt from Turner. Turner gets slowly back to his feet. Turner misses the body punch and White counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. White passes into side control, despite Turner's attempt to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Turner struggling a bit here. Turner tries to get back to half guard but can't. Turner really doesn't want to stay on the ground with White. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. White working away. Turner is looking to regain half guard here but White keeps moving and retains side control. Turner looks to move to half guard but instead White has passed into mount! Damn! Turner is working to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. White is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Turner has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Turner! Turner working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Turner wants to control from the top but White keeps moving. White preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. White is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Turner decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on White, up you get! Turner looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Turner clinches up against the cage. White fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Turner escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Turner closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Turner decides to stand back up. Turner steps back and let's White get back to his feet. Turner tries to clinch there but White circles away.
Conner White has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Zakai Turner is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Turner throws a one two combo.
And that's the end of the fight! Zakai Turner comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Turner winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
