Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thanos Eternal (ranked 6843 p4p, 0 weight class) and British Scorpy (ranked 5007 p4p, 172 weight class). British Scorpy told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Dirk Anderson and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scorpy misses with a body shot.
Scorpy wants to clinch.
Eternal throws a head kick but Scorpy moves out of range.
Scorpy wants to clinch up but Eternal keeps it at a distance.
Eternal avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Scorpy tries to close the distance and clinch but Eternal swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Eternal wants to clinch up but Scorpy keeps it at a distance.
Eternal swats away the attempt to clinch by Scorpy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Scorpy fails with an attempt to clinch.
Eternal keeps the fight on the outside.
Eternal shoots for a double leg takedown but Scorpy sprawls well. He's pushed Eternal's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Scorpy keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Eternal.
Eternal shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Scorpy but Scorpy pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The fight stays on the outside here - Scorpy looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Eternal swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Scorpy fails in his attempt to clinch.
Eternal has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Island Sparring in the buildup to the fight.
Eternal swats away the attempt to clinch by Scorpy.
Scorpy gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Eternal to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Scorpy looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Scorpy lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Scorpy passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Scorpy working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Eternal is looking to reverse the position.
Scorpy trying to control the action but Eternal is working from the bottom.
Scorpy in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Eternal is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
