Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ike Tronstone (ranked 518 p4p, 6 weight class) and Nicolas Muller (ranked 762 p4p, 35 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ike Tronstone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 20 - 1, fighting out of New York, Nicolas Muller!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tronstone lunges at Muller with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Muller's hand.
Tronstone throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Muller wants to clinch up but Tronstone keeps it at a distance.
A counter left hand to the body from Tronstone misses its target.
Tronstone throws a body shot but no joy.
Tronstone throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Muller.
Tronstone throws a jab but it's blocked by Muller.
And Muller responds with a good body kick, but Tronstone manages to step out the way in time.
Tronstone is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Muller.
Tronstone throws a right hand that misses
and Muller counters with a stiff right hand.
Tronstone pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tronstone misses with the body kick
enabling Muller to counter with a crisp jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Muller uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tronstone.
Tronstone tests Muller's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Muller throws a sloppy head kick
and Tronstone counters with an inside leg kick.
Tronstone scores with a jab to the jaw.

Tronstone throws a left and a right that both miss
and Muller counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Muller stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Tronstone.
Tronstone throws a jab but it's blocked by Muller.
Muller keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A head kick by Tronstone misses
and Muller counters with a nice low kick that buckles Tronstone's knee momentarily.
A chopping leg kick lands by Tronstone.
Muller ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Muller!
Tronstone uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Muller.
Tronstone scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tronstone, as that shot connected.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sloppy strikes from Muller. Those never looked like landing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Muller lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Tronstone swings widly with a right hand
and Muller counters with a right hand to the body.
Tronstone throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Tronstone takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Muller throws a leg kick but Tronstone sees it coming and moves out of range.
Muller dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Tronstone. That did some damage!
Nicolas Muller is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tronstone rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Muller counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Tronstone throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ike Tronstone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tronstone waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Muller.
Muller feints and then cracks Tronstone's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tronstone down.
Tronstone dips to his left and cracks Muller with an uppercut!

Muller throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Muller throws an elbow that misses.
Tronstone is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Muller pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Tronstone tries for a takedown but Muller manages to get underhooks.

Tronstone has Muller pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Tronstone pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Muller tumbling to the mat - Tronstone dives into Muller's guard.
Muller wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Tronstone throws a big right hand that misses.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Let's hope that Muller has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Muller manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Muller lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Muller using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Tronstone is breathing heavily.
Knees in the clinch landing for Muller.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Muller throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Muller lands a left hand.
Tronstone takes an elbow to the temple.


It looks like Ike Tronstone has been cut.
Muller lands a hook to the side of the head.
Muller lands a hook to the side of the head.
Muller looking to throw knees to the head but Tronstone is blocking nicely.
Tronstone tries to circle away but Muller has him pinned against the cage.
Muller is pressed up against the cage. Tronstone has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Muller down to the mat. Muller avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ike Tronstone. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Muller counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Muller has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Muller pushes Tronstone away with a front kick.

Muller lands a big head kick that sends Tronstone tumbling to the mat! Muller takes a step backwards and waves Tronstone back to his feet - he wants the finish!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tronstone misses with a jab to the body
and Muller counters with a huge left! Tronstone is in big trouble! He's backing up but Muller isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Tronstone from any more damage. A dominating finish by Muller!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nicolas Muller!
Nicolas Muller decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
