Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leeland Lillard (ranked 829 p4p, 119 weight class) and Harley King (ranked 1031 p4p, 139 weight class). Leeland Lillard has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harley King!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lillard pushes King away with a front kick.
Leeland Lillard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Both fighters circling a little - Lillard finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Lillard is looking to land body kicks.
Lillard throws a right and a left that King avoids nicely.
King avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lillard looks to throw the jab but King is out of range.
Lillard lands an overhand right.
Lillard has King up against the cage in a clinch.
Lillard throws an elbow but it's blocked.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Lillard lands a right hand that snaps the head of King backwards.
Lillard lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt King or not.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Lillard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
King fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lillard on the side of the head.
King's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lillard under the eye.

and King counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

King is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

A lazy left from King finds it's target.
King moves out of range as Lillard strikes.
Lillard bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps King's head backwards.
King throws the left hand but Lillard avoids the punch easily.
Nice body kick from Lillard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lillard attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

King bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

A swing and a miss from Lillard.
Lillard rushes King and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

King has a couple of punches blocked by Lillard.

King is trying to push Lillard away but Lillard has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
King throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Lillard definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
King wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Still in the clinch, Lillard scores with a nice short uppercut.

King tries to throw a body punch but Lillard avoids it by throwing King back against the cage.
King is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
King can't find room to land a body shot as Lillard controls the action.

and Lillard counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

King moves out of range as Lillard throws a body kick.

Lillard has closed the distance and engaged King in a clinch.
King is trying to break the clinch but Lillard has him pressed against the cage.

Lillard lands a really nice looking cross but King seems unphased.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
King swings for the body but Lillard moves out of range.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leeland Lillard dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
King has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lillard.
Lillard is looking to chop away at King's legs.
Lillard connects with a right hand. King shakes it off.
Both fighters circling a little - Lillard finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
King scores with a sloppy right hand. Lillard should have avoided that one.
Lillard clinches up against the cage.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Lillard just misses with a elbow thrown towards King's brow.
King is trying to break free.
King is trying to force a seperation but Lillard has the dominant position.
King lands a nice shot to the body.
King breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

King has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
King scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lillard doesn't seem bothered though.

Leeland Lillard is winning the standup battle so far.
King thuds his right hand into Lillard's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

and King counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
King throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lillard on the side of the head.

A looping hook to the body misses from King. Lillard does a little dance to reset his feet.
King circles away from the clinch attempt.
King scores with a hook to the body. Lillard takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
King lands a jab to the head.

and King counters with a big right hand! Oh Lillard is in trouble here! King follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
