Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mateusz Biernat (ranked 1112 p4p, 155 weight class) and Bob Hauweg (ranked 991 p4p, 141 weight class). Biernat comes to the cage accompanied by Marzenia. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bob Hauweg was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Mateusz Biernat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bob Hauweg!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biernat gets caught napping as Hauweg dives in and scores a takedown. Biernat manages to retain guard.
Hauweg pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Biernat is keeping the position for now.
Biernat is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Biernat working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hauweg doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hauweg manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hauweg trying to control but Biernat is working from the bottom.
Hauweg got a little sloppy there for a moment and Biernat has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hauweg has managed to get both his arms back between Biernat's legs - danger averted.
Biernat keeping moving, preventing Hauweg from controlling successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hauweg has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Biernat to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hauweg is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Biernat pulls down on the head and he's put Hauweg to sleep! This one is all over!
