The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saarela scores with a shot to the body.
Saarela throws a looping overhand right but Sandoval ducks down to avoid it. Sandoval feinted with a counter takedown. Sandoval takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Saarela throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sandoval stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Saarela scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Saarela tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sandoval was well out of range. Poor timing from Saarela. Saarela is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Sandoval lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
