Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Coleman Herring (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Earl Munro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munro shoots in but Herring avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Herring has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like Coleman Herring has been cut.
Herring misses with a double jab
and Munro counters with a nice body kick.
Herring is breathing heavily.

Munro tries to bum rush Herring with a series of wild strikes but Herring uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Munro counters with a three punch combo that has Herring backing up. Herring nods at Munro to acknowledge the strikes.

Herring wants to clinch but Munro slips to the side
and Munro counters with a series of strikes. Herring will be more careful next time no doubt.
Munro throws out a loose jab but Herring uses good head movement to avoid it.

Herring has Munro up against the cage in a clinch.

Munro has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Herring avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Munro keeps control of Herring as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Herring stalks Munro and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Munro's face. Munro staggers backwards, shaken.
Herring moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Herring gets the takedown into side control.

Munro throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Munro fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Coleman Herring has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Earl Munro.

Herring has Munro pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Herring pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Munro tumbling to the mat - Herring dives into Munro's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Munro is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Munro is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Munro tries to close the distance and clinch up but Herring swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Coleman Herring's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Herring shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Munro pinned against the cage. Munro gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Herring throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Herring lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Munro circles away quickly and effectively.
Munro throws a combination. Herring tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Jeez, Coleman Herring's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Coleman Herring's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
