Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lalli Kuutamo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tham Boon Yodsuwan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yodsuwan scores with a push kick.
Yodsuwan throws a hook to the side of Kuutamo's head but Kuutamo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Yodsuwan feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kuutamo's calf.

It looks like Lalli Kuutamo has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Yodsuwan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kuutamo circles away quickly and effectively.
Tham Boon Yodsuwan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Yodsuwan loads up on a big right hand but Kuutamo slips the punch.
Yodsuwan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kuutamo manages to avoid it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Kuutamo moves out of range of the strikes.
Yodsuwan paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Yodsuwan moves into the clinch.
Kuutamo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Yodsuwan pulls his leg out and moves away.
Yodsuwan lands a nice looking body kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Yodsuwan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kuutamo. That did some damage!
Kuutamo fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yodsuwan lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kuutamo has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Yodsuwan finds it's way round the side to connect with Kuutamo's head.
Kuutamo takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Yodsuwan connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

and Kuutamo counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Yodsuwan's guard now.

Kuutamo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Yodsuwan is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Yodsuwan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kuutamo is controlling him.

Kuutamo tries to free his leg and advance position but Yodsuwan is retaining full guard.
Yodsuwan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kuutamo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kuutamo drops back looking for a leg! Yodsuwan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Yodsuwan manages to kick Kuutamo off! Kuutamo jumps back into Yodsuwan's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Kuutamo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Kuutamo walks forward, straight into a front kick from Yodsuwan.
Yodsuwan ducks under a wild hook from Kuutamo.
Yodsuwan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kuutamo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Kuutamo is looking for a kimura but Yodsuwan is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kuutamo to get the leverage.
Kuutamo takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Kuutamo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Yodsuwan is trying to stand back up but Kuutamo is controlling him

Kuutamo is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Yodsuwan can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Yodsuwan is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Kuutamo jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Yodsuwan manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Kuutamo is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Yodsuwan knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
