The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Steven Brown and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Petrov. Those never looked like landing.
Petrov falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ferreria counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Petrov drops Ferreria with a beautiful combination! Ferreria stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Petrov is looking for the KO!
It looks like Alex Ferreria has been cut.
Petrov just misses with a punch to the body.
Ferreria raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Petrov wants to clinch up but Ferreria keeps it at a distance.
As Petrov backs off Ferreria throws a huge counter combo but Petrov manages to avoid it all.
Petrov takes a head kick and keeps coming.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Petrov throws a right and a left that Ferreria avoids nicely.

Ferreria scores with a crisp jab that stopped Petrov in his tracks.

Ferreria's jab looks to have found its range, popping Petrov under the eye.
Ferreria slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Petrov tries to close the distance and clinch but Ferreria swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Ferreria has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

A quick step to the side and Petrov tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ferreria sizes up Petrov with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Ferreria lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Petrov takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Ferreria lands a big head kick that sends Petrov tumbling to the mat! Ferreria takes a step backwards and waves Petrov back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Petrov swings for the body but Ferreria moves out of range.

and Ferreria counters with a nice right hand that sends Petrov toppling to the canvas! Petrov scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Ferreria finish him?!
Oh Petrov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Petrov seems to have got his legs back now.
A punch combination from Petrov misses.
Petrov takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Petrov takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Ferreria scores with a crisp jab that stopped Petrov in his tracks.
Petrov swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ferreria counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Petrov wants to clinch
and Ferreria counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Ferreria ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Petrov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A slapping body kick lands there for Ferreria.
Petrov ducks right into an uppercut from Ferreria.
Petrov takes one to the chin there.

Ferreria might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Ferreria bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Petrov's head backwards.
Fedor Petrov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Petrov misses with a double jab
and Ferreria connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ferreria throws a nice looking combination but Petrov bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ferreria looks to score with a jab to the body but Petrov is just out of range.
Ferreria avoids a punch combination nicely.
Petrov tries to move into range but Ferreria moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Petrov throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ferreria counters with a straight right hand.
A left lands for Ferreria.
Ferreria looks to land a combination. Petrov sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Ferreria is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Petrov had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Ferreria keeps the fight on the outside.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Petrov has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ferreria finds it's way round the side to connect with Petrov's head.
Petrov throws a right hand that Ferreria ducks under and follows up with a left that Ferreria also avoids with ease.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alex Ferreria dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Petrov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A shot to the liver by Ferreria. Beautiful body shot.
Ferreria has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Jab, jab by Ferreria - just one landing.
Ferreria lands with a hook. Petrov tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Petrov might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Petrov throws a right and a left that Ferreria avoids nicely.
Petrov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ferreria circles away quickly and effectively.
Ferreria has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Nice uppercut lands for Ferreria. That snapped Petrov's head back.
Petrov takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Petrov is rocked!
Ferreria cracks Petrov with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Ferreria has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Petrov to stand back up!
Oh Petrov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ferreria moves in close and cracks Petrov with a massive right hand! Petrov, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Ferreria!
