Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mario Benedetti (ranked 184 p4p, 28 weight class) and Johnny Leroux (ranked 355 p4p, 50 weight class). Benedetti's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Bajafondo. The key to victory for Mario Benedetti has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benedetti ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Benedetti blocks a jab.

Leroux throws a hook but Benedetti avoids it easily.
Leroux throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Benedetti tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Leroux is in Benedetti's guard.

It looked like Benedetti was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Leroux lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Leroux feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Benedettis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Benedetti throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
And Leroux tries to counter it with a takedown but Benedetti pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Leroux tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Benedetti defends well and Leroux ends up having to push Benedetti into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Benedetti lands a big uppercut and Leroux crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Leroux looks OK. Benedetti waves Leroux back to his feet!

and Benedetti counters with a big left hand that crumples Leroux! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!
