Coming up we have a middleweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Royce Gracie (ranked 2398 p4p, 291 weight class) and Carlos Silverio (ranked 5325 p4p, 494 weight class). Gracie comes to the ring accompanied by Jiu Jitsu by Smoke Serpent. Silverio has chosen Shiro Sagisu - Angel of Doom as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the middleweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 3 losses; Royce Gracie! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 15 wins and 10 losses; Carlos Silverio! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Silverio gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Silverio jumps guard and drags Gracie to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Silverio looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Gracie is taking a break and basically stalling. Silverio has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Silverio is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silverio wants to control his opponent's hands but Gracie gets his hands free. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Gracie is looking to control Silverio but Silverio is wriggling around and keeping busy. Silverio looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Gracie is hanging on to Silverio's back as he tries to escape.

Gracie is trying to stick to Silverio's back but Silverio is turning into Gracie. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Gracie's guard. Silverio wants to hit a switch here but Gracie passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Silverio there!
