The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lavigne displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Luque throws out the jab.

Lavigne creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Luque's defenses.

It looks like Mario Luque has been cut.

Luque is trying to maintain a safe position but Lavigne gets an underhook and turns Luque into the cage.

Lavigne lands a vicious elbow to the side of Luque's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Lavigne tries to finish him with strikes but Luque still seems able to defend himself so Lavigne steps back and lets Luque get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.
