Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Jemaliejnko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angelo Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alex Jemaliejnko looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alex Jemaliejnko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Angelo Junior!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junior throws a nice outside leg kick.
Jemaliejnko looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Junior lands with a shot to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Junior closes the distance and clinches.
Jemaliejnko letting Junior take a breather here.

Junior jumps guard and drags Jemaliejnko to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Jemaliejnko could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Junior wants to sweep but no luck.

Jemaliejnko avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Junior is on top in guard.
Junior is pushing down on Jemaliejnko's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jemaliejnko is fighting to maintain full guard but Junior has managed to sneak the leg through.

Junior decides to stand and escape the position.

Junior decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Junior darts in and clinches Jemaliejnko up against the cage.

Junior manages to break the clinch.

Junior feints and as Jemaliejnko raises his hands in defense, Junior changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Junior has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jemaliejnko is proving hard to escape from.

Jemaliejnko escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Junior gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Junior feints and as Jemaliejnko raises his hands in defense, Junior changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Jemaliejnko fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Junior sprawls well initially but Jemaliejnko persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Angelo Junior comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Junior has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
