Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Max Palmer (ranked 2252 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hichem Saifeddine (ranked 3092 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Max Palmer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hichem Saifeddine!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Sergei Dronov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palmer throws a head kick that misses.
Saifeddine lands a head kick. Palmer smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Palmer is rocked!
Palmer moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Saifeddine looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Saifeddine backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Palmer's temple! It sends Palmer violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Saifeddine celebrates and the doctors try to help Palmer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Hichem Saifeddine!
