Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Draeson Millhouse (ranked 4541 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Elkins (ranked 5108 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elkins lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Millhouse takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Millhouse throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Millhouse on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Millhouse lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Millhouse looks for the body kick but Elkins saw that one coming.
Elkins misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Elkins defending well as Millhouse loads up on a big left hand.
Elkins ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Millhouse gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Elkins looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Millhouse jumps guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Millhouse is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Elkins wants to control but Millhouse is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Millhouse throws a big counter combination but Elkins scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Millhouse has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Elkins finds it's way round the side to connect with Millhouse's head.

Millhouse is looking to take a break and control but Elkins is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Millhouse decides to stand back up. Millhouse steps back and let's Elkins get back to his feet.
Elkins lands a nice hook to Millhouse's body. Millhouse takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Elkins connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Millhouse momentarily.

Millhouse rushes Elkins and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Millhouse gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Elkins has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Millhouse off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Millhouse is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Elkins cracks a nice hook into Millhouse's ribs.
Millhouse pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Millhouse clinches up with Elkins and pushes him back against the cage.

Elkins throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Millhouse gets a takedown into half guard.
Elkins is trying to get back to full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Elkins is refusing to be controlled, as Millhouse sits in half guard.

Elkins is trying to maintain the position but Millhouse is very close to passing his half guard.
Elkins is controlling Millhouse's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Millhouse seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Elkins does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Millhouse shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Elkins's guard.

Elkins has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Millhouse has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Elkins misses with a hook from the clinch.

Millhouse breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Draeson Millhouse is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Elkins works the jab nicely.
Elkins connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Millhouse takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Nice uppercut there from Elkins.
Elkins thuds a left hand into Millhouse's body.
Elkins ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Millhouse moves away.
Millhouse ducks right into an uppercut from Elkins.
Elkins cracks a nice hook into Millhouse's ribs.

Elkins fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Elkins is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Millhouse rather than just go for the knockout.

Elkins uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Elkins scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Millhouse closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Elkins quickly recovers to half guard.

Elkins is positioning himself well to prevent Millhouse advancing to mount.

Millhouse is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Elkins is just riding it out for now. Millhouse eventually gives up the hold.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Elkins clobbers Millhouse with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Dylan Elkins showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Millhouse has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Elkins regains guard immediately.

Elkins wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Millhouse is fighting to break Elkins's control of his arms but Elkins is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Millhouse throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Elkins works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Millhouse stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Elkins swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Elkins fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Millhouse looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Elkins fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Millhouse on the side of the head.
Elkins has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Elkins cracks Millhouse with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Elkins works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Millhouse misses with a head kick.
Elkins's corner calls for a 1-2. Elkins obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Elkins throws out a counter right but Millhouse avoids it with no problem.

Millhouse changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Elkins looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Elkins controls the position for a moment.
Draeson Millhouse overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Elkins tries to bench press Millhouse off him but Millhouse keeps the position.
Millhouse lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Elkins down.
Elkins struggling a bit here.

Millhouse is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Elkins has escaped the position, nice work there.
Elkins holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
Elkins can't do much from the bottom here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Millhouse tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Millhouse has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Elkins can't do much from the bottom here.
Elkins manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Elkins is trying is best to control the position here.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Elkins keeps control of the position for the meantime.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Draeson Millhouse.
I think Millhouse has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
