Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Shimada and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucy keeps Kakoullis at a distance using the push kick.
Kakoullis displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lucy throws out the jab.
Kakoullis was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Sotiris Kakoullis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kakoullis on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

and Lucy counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Kakoullis cracks Lucy with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Kakoullis has been working on his boxing with his coaches at UnderGround Boxing Facility in the buildup to the fight.

Lucy bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kakoullis misses with an uppercut. Lucy saw that one coming.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Kakoullis makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lucy sends Kakoullis crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Lucy is motioning to the referee to let Kakoullis up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Kakoullis bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Kakoullis throws a shot from downtown. Lucy moves away and avoids it.
Lucy tries a quick counter leg kick but Kakoullis is wise to it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kakoullis. Lucy does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lucy thuds his shin into the meat of Kakoullis's side.

Lucy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lucy uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kakoullis has time to react.

Lucy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kakoullis manages to avoid it.

Kakoullis's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lucy under the eye.

Kakoullis throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lucy uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kakoullis.
Kakoullis throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Lucy counter with a right hand.
Jeez, Sotiris Kakoullis's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Sotiris Kakoullis's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
