Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ira Wright (ranked 103 p4p, 12 weight class) and Ludo Van Veen (ranked 166 p4p, 24 weight class). Van Veen has chosen Give it ALL as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Van Veen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Ludo Van Veen dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Wright lands a big uppercut and Van Veen crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Van Veen looks OK. Wright waves Van Veen back to his feet!

Wright weaves into range and cracks Van Veen right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Van Veen goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Wright is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ira Wright!
An out of breath Ira Wright thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
