Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Howlin Wolf (ranked 188 p4p, 28 weight class) and Umberto Reem (ranked 374 p4p, 55 weight class). Reem comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bad Reputation kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Howlin Wolf!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Umberto Reem!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reem's corner calls for a 1-2. Reem obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Reem jabs Wolf right on the nose. Wolf blinks but takes it well.

Wolf closes the distance and clinches.
Reem working aggressively here.
Reem is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

We've been informed that Reem has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Reem throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wolf looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Reem takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Reem walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Wolf checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Reem.

Wolf backing away here, and Reem unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Wolf uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Reem has time to react.

Reem swings wildly with an uppercut but Wolf uses good head movement to avoid it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Wolf tries to score a power double leg takedown but Reem sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wolf somewhat.
Reem will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Reem bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Wolf's head backwards.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wolf accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Wolf bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Reem's guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
