Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Diego Gaspar!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gaspar shoots in and bounces Fidnhasieunch off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Fidnhasieunch has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gaspar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Fidnhasieunch working for a triangle but Gaspar defends it easily.

Gaspar thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Fidnhasieunch being controlled here, momentarily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gaspar preventing the sweep.

Fidnhasieunch looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Gaspar passes into half guard.
Fidnhasieunch gets back to full guard.

Gaspar wants to control from the top but Fidnhasieunch keeps moving.
Gaspar wants to pass the guard but Fidnhasieunch is keeping the position.

Gaspar avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fidnhasieunch is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Fidnhasieunch wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Gaspar is now in half guard.

Gaspar is looking for a kimura but Fidnhasieunch is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gaspar to get the leverage.
Gaspar wants to free his trapped foot but Fidnhasieunch is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Fidnhasieunch is looking for a sweep. Gaspar is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Gaspar is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Fidnhasieunch moves into full guard.
Gaspar stays in close to Fidnhasieunch's body and controls the position.
Fidnhasieunch is looking to sweep but instead, Gaspar has passed into half guard.
Fidnhasieunch tries to roll over but Gaspar keeps him under control.
Gaspar works his way into side control.
Fidnhasieunch tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gaspar wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Gaspar wants to control but Fidnhasieunch is keeping him busy.

Fidnhasieunch tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Fidnhasieunch gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Gaspar jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Fidnhasieunch manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Fidnhasieunch manages to get to full guard.

Fidnhasieunch looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Gaspar advances position into side control!

Gaspar happy to just control the position for now.
Fidnhasieunch is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Gaspar tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gaspar has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Gaspar advances nicely into full mount.
Gaspar seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Fidnhasieunch is holding on tight.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Gaspar looking to control but Fidnhasieunch is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Gaspar manages to capitalize on a mistake by Fidnhasieunch to take his back!
Fidnhasieunch tries to break free.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Diego Gaspar dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Fidnhasieunch shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Gaspar has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Fidnhasieunch should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Gaspar has tightened it up now! Fidnhasieunch should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
