The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mikkasan misses with a body kick.
Mikkasan rushes Armstrong and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Mikkasan is struggling to control the position.
Armstrong is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Mikkasan to keep the fight standing.
Armstrong escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Armstrong rushes Mikkasan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Armstrong tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Armstrong ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Armstrong no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Mikkasan content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mikkasan tries to free his leg and advance position but Armstrong is retaining full guard.

Mikkasan arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Armstrong's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
