The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDaniels blocks a jab.
Jones looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
McDaniels misses with a head kick.
An attempted straight right counter from Jones misses the target.
McDaniels misses with a hook to the body
and Jones connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A big left from McDaniels misses.
McDaniels doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
McDaniels swings widly with a right hand
and Jones cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A nice inside leg kick there by McDaniels. That's going to slow Jones down.
A left and a right from Jones both land. Nice combination.
A head kick by McDaniels misses
letting Jones counter with a right hand.
McDaniels throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Jones counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends McDaniels down! Jones is looking to finish but McDaniels is intelligently defending himself.

McDaniels is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jones is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
McDaniels is still in real trouble! Can Jones finish him?
Jones stands and throws McDaniels's legs to the side, diving into side control.
McDaniels is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Jones working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
McDaniels wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
McDaniels being controlled for a moment.
McDaniels seems to have recovered his senses.
McDaniels is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Jones is controlling him well.
