The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yokel misses with a left hand
and Miles counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Yokel wants to get back to his feet but Miles passes into half guard.

That's time! Yokel's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Yokel enables Miles to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Yokel manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Miles drops back looking for a leg! Yokel is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Yokel manages to kick Miles off! Miles jumps back into Yokel's guard.

Miles is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Miles working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Yokel turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Miles off and cradles Yokel's limp body as Miles celebrates with his corner.
