Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Nickmann (ranked 4651 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boom Bam (ranked 6853 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Boom Bam! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nickmann throws a combination. Bam tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Boom Bam has been cut. Bam fails with the takedown and Nickmann counters by clinching up. Bam tries to pull guard but Nickmann forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Nickmann has clasped his hands together around Bam's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Bam is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Nickmann off and has taken his back! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nickmann wants to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bam doesn't have the hooks in and Nickmann manages to turn into his guard.

Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Nickmann! Bam tries to get back to half guard but can't. Nickmann connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Bam some visible discomfort.
