Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Don Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurt Kendall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slice comes into the arena with Welcome to the Jungle blaring out of the sound system. Kendall has chosen I Go To Work as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Don Slice! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kurt Kendall! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Eddie Farnsworth and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slice looks to land a combination but Kendall avoids it well. Slice moves into the clinch. Kendall tries to pull guard but Slice holds him up against the cage and eventually Kendall drops back down to his feet.
Kendall is working for takedown but Slice is calmly controlling the position for now. Slice wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Slice manages to pull guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Slice keeping full guard, as Kendall tries to pass. Slice wants to stand but Kendall is controlling the position. Kendall pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Slice is keeping the position for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kendall being controlled here momentarily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kendall drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Slice dives on top into guard. Slice stops Kendall from standing up. Kendall is looking to sweep but instead, Slice has passed into half guard.
Kendall is looking to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kendall trying to hold on to Slice's head to control him but Slice postures up.
Kendall might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Slice kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Kendall tries to roll over but Slice keeps him under control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kendall is pressing down on Slice's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Slice decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kendall, up you get! Kendall shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Slice but Slice pushes him off and we're back to square one. Don Slice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kurt Kendall. Kendall tries to clinch but fails miserably and Slice counters with a lovely shot to the body. Kendall looks gassed! Slice is looking to clinch. Slice ducks down and throws a hook to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Kendall blocks a head kick by Slice.
Kendall throws a low kick, looking for Slice's leg but Slice calmly moves out of range. Slice ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Slice drops Kendall with a beautiful combination! Kendall stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Slice is looking for the KO!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Slice swinging wilding here.
Kendall misses with a takedown attempt - Slice sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. A bone on bone clash there as Kendall blocks the leg kick.
Kendall closes the distance looking to clinch and Slice counters by clinching up. Slice breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kendall fails with a takedown attempt. Kendall circles away from the clinch attempt and Kendall counters with a nice double leg into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Don Slice dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Slice lands with a shot to the body. Danga de danga de dang - Slice scores with a four punch combination! This has been an exciting period of action! Slice is looking to clinch. Slice goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Slice throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Don Slice is winning the standup battle so far. A jab from Slice does it's job there. Slice has taken the fight to the clinch.

Slice escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Slice misses with a head kick.
Kendall throws a head kick that misses and Slice cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Slice ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Slice is looking to wear down Kendall with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. A punch combination from Slice misses. Kendall dodges the punch combination from Slice.
Slice is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kendall can do to turn this around? Slice comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Slice darts in trying to clinch and Kendall counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Kendall throwing strikes from guard but Slice blocks nicely. Slice looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slice is working hard here to advance position. Slice controls Kendall momentarily but Kendall frees himself. Slice is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kendall is controlling him. Kendall trying to control but Slice is working from the bottom. Kendall wants to pass the guard but Slice is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kendall passes Slice's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Kendall is stalling here. Slice is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Kendall seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Slice has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Kendall is trying to improve his position. Slice trying to control the position but Kendall is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Slice working away. Kendall controls the position for a moment. Slice has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kendall doesn't succeed with the takedown and Slice counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Slice throws a half hearted mid kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Don Slice dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Kendall is looking to clinch but Slice is avoiding it.
Kendall scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Kendall is working for a kimura but Slice is defending it quite comfortably.
Slice pushes Kendall off looking to stand but Kendall dives back in and keeps control.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kendall with the ground and pound but Slice uses the opportunity to regain guard. Slice wants to get back to his feet but Kendall is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kendall trying to control but Slice is working from the bottom. Kendall preventing the sweep.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kendall shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kendall showed some decent athleticism there. Slice is not content to let Kendall control the position. Don Slice is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kendall with the ground and pound but Slice uses the opportunity to regain guard. Kendall trying to control the position from guard on top but Slice is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slice wants to get back to his feet but Kendall is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Kendall trying to control but Slice is working from the bottom. Slice wants to stand up but Kendall is controlling him.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Slice changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Kendall misses with a takedown attempt letting Slice counter with a right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kendall gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Slice. Slice lands a head shot. A slapping body kick lands there for Slice. Slice checks a leg kick. Kendall with a poor takedown letting Slice counter with a right hand. Kendall doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Slice scores with a shot to the body.
Kendall looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. An inside leg kick from Slice misses. Kendall has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kendall there as he acknowledges the shot.
And that's the end of the fight! Don Slice showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Slice, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
