CACC 6 PBP Commentary


Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Ibbe Ribbler (ranked 1079 p4p, 151 weight class) and Russell Paulman (ranked 2102 p4p, 271 weight class). Ribbler comes into the arena with Bad Religion - Infected blaring out of the sound system. Paulman has chosen War is my Love as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 3 losses; Ibbe Ribbler! And in the blue corner, fighting out of St Petersburg, with a TWGC record of 16 wins and 10 losses; Russell Paulman!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Ribbler shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ribbler was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

We've been hearing good reports from Ribbler's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
