Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between RJ Misa (ranked 4661 p4p, 0 weight class) and Logan Trilly (ranked 6527 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, RJ Misa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Logan Trilly! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trilly has closed the distance and engaged Misa in a clinch.
Trilly has Misa pressed against the cage, preventing Misa from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Misa misses with a punch to the body.
Trilly content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Misa throws a knee to the head but misses.
Trilly breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Misa doesn't succeed with the takedown and Trilly counters with a nice double leg into side control. Misa won't be happy with that. Misa is being controlled here. Misa tries to get back to half guard but can't. Trilly tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Misa wants to get back to his feet. Trilly is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Misa has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trilly is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Misa's shoulder. That is not cool. Misa can't do much from the bottom here. Trilly is trying to get an arm triangle but Misa is defending well. Trilly working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Trilly wants to stand but Misa has his arm trapped. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Misa is trying to control Trilly's posture but Trilly avoids it.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Nice takedown defense from Trilly. No joy for Misa on that attempt. Trilly clinches with his opponent.
Misa really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Misa tries to land knees in the clinch but Trilly avoids the damage to the body. Misa wants the takedown. Trilly is fighting it off but Misa persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Trilly's guard against the cage. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Trilly can do anything to dispel that myth. Trilly is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Misa throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Trilly looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Trilly is on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trilly trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Misa manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Trilly had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Misa defends it easily. Misa looking to pass the guard. Misa will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Misa avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Trilly is on top in guard.
Trilly stands and throws Misa's legs to the side, diving into side control. Trilly working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Trilly has knee on belly and moves into mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Misa taking shots to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Logan Trilly dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Trilly has a takedown stuffed. Misa closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Misa working hard to break the clinch. A head punch on the inside from Misa fails to land. Trilly escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Misa tries to throw a body punch but Trilly avoids it by throwing Misa back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Trilly manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Trilly holds on and takes a little breather. Misa wanted to stand there but Trilly had control of the position. Misa throws a strike but Trilly rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Misa not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Logan Trilly has got the better of the ground game so far. Misa manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Trilly manages to get himself to full guard.
Trilly is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Trilly wants to pass to mount but Misa is defending the position. Misa looking for submissions off his back. Misa trying to control but Trilly postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Misa wants to get back to full guard but Trilly has mounted him! Misa keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Trilly tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trilly tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment. Trilly controlling the pace for now. Misa wants to try and get back to his feet. Trilly is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Misa to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Misa shrugs it off. Misa can't escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Trilly goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Misa is on top in guard.
Trilly looking for a sweep. Not yet Trilly, not yet. Misa sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Trilly's guard. Misa thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Trilly has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Misa is working away from the top position though. Trilly looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Misa thows a huge punch but Trilly dodges it nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Logan Trilly showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Misa will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Misa clinches up with Trilly and pushes him back against the cage. Trilly manages to break the clinch.
Trilly has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Trilly feints and as Misa raises his hands in defense, Trilly changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Misa has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Trilly is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Trilly breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Misa pushes Trilly up against the cage in a clinch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Misa looking for a takedown. Trilly breaks from the clinch.
Trilly tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Misa tries to clinch there but Trilly circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trilly fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Misa avoids it really well and circles away. As Trilly looks to move away, Misa throws a big counter combo but Trilly just gets out of the way. Misa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Trilly paws at him with a jab and circles away. Trilly shoots in and drives through. Misa sprawls well. Trilly takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Misa tries to clinch and Trilly decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Misa's guard. Misa keeping moving, preventing Trilly from controlling successfully. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Trilly working his ground and pound in the gym. The fighters are working up against the cage. Misa manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Misa pressing his opponent against the cage. Misa wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Trilly has him pressed against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Misa can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for RJ Misa. That's going to take a lot out of him. Trilly manages to break the clinch.
Trilly tries to land a front kick but Misa steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Misa throws a head kick that Trilly semi-blocks.
Misa with a poor takedown and Trilly counters with a nice double leg into guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Misa pulls Trilly in close to his closed guard and prevents Trilly from doing any damage or advancing position. Trilly is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Trilly is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Misa wants to stand but Trilly is controlling the position. Trilly showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Misa fails with the takedown and Trilly connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Misa tries to clinch up but Trilly circles away and keeps his distance. Misa gets caught flat footed, as Trilly shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Trilly is looking to work some ground and pound but Misa has wrist control. Trilly distracts Misa with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Trilly scoring with punches to the head and body.
And that's the end of the fight! Logan Trilly comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Trilly winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
