Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tony Diaz (ranked 6997 p4p, 612 weight class) and Kandal Feynman (ranked 6459 p4p, 587 weight class). Kandal Feynman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tony Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kandal Feynman! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Feynman is fending him off so far but Diaz persists. Nope, Feynman circles away and we're back to standing. Feynman clinches with his opponent.
Feynman manages to break the clinch.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Feynman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Diaz slips a jab and a cross from Feynman.
Diaz is looking for a counter combo. Feynman waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Diaz. Feynman takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Feynman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Diaz's guard. Feynman missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Diaz throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Diaz throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Diaz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Feynman stands up and waves to Diaz to follow him. Diaz is trying hard to land a takedown here. Feynman sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Diaz throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Feynman swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Diaz is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Feynman tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Feynman drives through with a takedown into guard. Diaz looking for a guillotine here but Feynman defends easily.
Feynman lands a couple of decent looking shots. Diaz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Diaz preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz tries to land a sweep but no joy. Feynman stands up and waves to Diaz to follow him. A left and a right from Diaz both land. Nice combination. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Diaz gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Feynman to score an easy takedown into full guard. Feynman looks winded! Diaz working for a triangle but Feynman defends it easily.

Diaz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz wants to stand but Feynman is controlling the position. Diaz looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Feynman is defending well. Diaz quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Feynman has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Diaz celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Tony Diaz! Tony Diaz bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
