The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Budzikowski takes a kick to the side of the head.

It looks like Andrzej Budzikowski has been cut.

Budzikowski darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Bearpig looking for submissions off his back.
Budzikowski is trying to control the action in half guard but Bearpig is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Budzikowski slips a nice elbow through Bearpig's hands, connecting with Bearpig's forehead.
Bearpig has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Budzikowski is working away from the top position though.
Budzikowski lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Budzikowski looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bearpig with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

It looks like Man Bearpig has been cut.

Bearpig is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Budzikowski pulls his head out easily.
Bearpig is breathing heavily.

Budzikowski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bearpig. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Man Bearpig's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
