And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ryan Rodriguez!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez throws a right hand that Seran ducks under and follows up with a left that Seran also avoids with ease.
Seran fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rodriguez manages to avoid it.
Rodriguez swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Rodriguez throws a sloppy head kick and Seran moves out of range easily.
Seran throws a right hand that misses
and Rodriguez counters with a straight right hand.
Rodriguez lands a body shot.
Rodriguez scores with a jab to the body.
Rodriguez scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Seran doesn't seem bothered though.
Ryan Rodriguez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crunch! Rodriguez slams his shin into Seran's torso.
Seran fails in his attempt to clinch.
Seran has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Olyn Seran has been cut.
Rodriguez dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Rodriguez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Rodriguez lands a head kick. Seran smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Rodriguez lands a right hook to the body.

Rodriguez tries to keep at a distance but Seran has taken the fight into the clinch.
Rodriguez tries to break free but Seran pushes him back against the cage.
Rodriguez manages to break the clinch.
Seran walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Rodriguez misses with a looping left.
Seran fails in his attempt to clinch.
Seran pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Rodriguez fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Seran looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Seran is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Rodriguez.
Seran misses with a left hand
and Rodriguez counters with a left and a right that stings Seran.
Rodriguez lands a nice hook to Seran's body. Seran takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Seran moves out of range of the strikes.
Rodriguez lands with a good body shot.

Rodriguez lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Seran at a distance.
Rodriguez lands with a nice body punch.
A left lands for Rodriguez.
A left and a right from Rodriguez both land. Nice combination.
Rodriguez throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Seran swings for the body but Rodriguez moves out of range.
Rodriguez swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Seran.
Rodriguez keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Seran.
Rodriguez steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Seran.

Rodriguez avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Rodriguez looks for the body kick but Seran saw that one coming.

Seran defending well as Rodriguez loads up on a big left hand.
Rodriguez moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Rodriguez misses with a looping right.
Rodriguez throws a sloppy head kick and Seran moves out of range easily.
As Rodriguez tries to get set, Seran tries to push him back and clinch up but Rodriguez manages to avoid the attempt.
Rodriguez is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Seran rather than just go for the knockout.
Seran lands a big right hand that sends Rodriguez crashing to the mat! Seran stays standing though and waves Rodriguez back to his feet!
Rodriguez is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Rodriguez is still on wobbly legs! Can Seran finish him?
Rodriguez bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Seran comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Rodriguez falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Rodriguez was out before he hit the floor!
