Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, John Joe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dillon King! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Russell Pearce and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joe has managed to clinch.
Joe is defending well against a takedown attempt. Joe gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Dillon King has been cut. Joe stalls. Joe content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Joe creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through King's defenses. Joe slowing the pace effectively. King has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Joe after a bit of a struggle. Joe lands a damaging elbow. Joe gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from King.
John Joe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dillon King. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Joe is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Joe lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. King has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Joe avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Joe misses with a punch to the body.

Joe lands a hook that snaps the head of King backwards. King tries for a takedown but Joe manages to get underhooks.
Joe lands with a light punch inside. Joe trying to land knees to the body.
Joe lands a nice shot to the body. King wants a takedown but no success here.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Joe. King tries to pull guard but Joe forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Joe holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Joe tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Joe lands with a left to the head. Joe lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Joe works on King's body with a couple of short punches. King is trying to break the clinch but Joe has him pressed against the cage. Joe tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and King avoids it. Joe stalling.
Joe comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
That has opened up Dillon King's cut even more. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nice elbow from Joe.
King is rocked! Still in the clinch, Joe scores with a nice short uppercut. King is still on wobbly legs! Can Joe finish him? King is pressed against the cage. Joe pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts King! Two more big strikes from Joe and King crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). John Joe!
