Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Nicholson (ranked 4960 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xi Li (ranked 3102 p4p, 353 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Li looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Li throws a head kick that Nicholson semi-blocks.
It looks like George Nicholson has been cut.
Li misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Li has closed the distance and engaged Nicholson in a clinch.

Li throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nicholson.

Nicholson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Nicholson tries to get out of the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Li throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Nicholson's head.
Nicholson darts in looking for a takedown but Li gets double underhooks and turns Nicholson into the cage.
Li closes the distance and clinches.
Li misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Nicholson is looking to take this one to the mat.
Nicholson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Li avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Horrible takedown attempt by Nicholson or perhaps it was just good defense by Li, which made it look bad.
As Nicholson backs off Li throws a huge counter combo but Nicholson manages to avoid it all.
Nicholson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Li lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Nicholson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Li sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nicholson somewhat.

Li throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Nicholson shoots in looking for a takedown but Li manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nicholson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Li lands a big head kick that sends Nicholson tumbling to the mat! Li takes a step backwards and waves Nicholson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Xi Li is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Li has Nicholson up against the cage in a clinch.
Oh Nicholson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nicholson's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
A fake to the body and Li gets the Thai clinch. He wastes no time and tries to connect with knees to the head. This is dangerous for Nicholson! He should get out! Another devastating knee and Nicholson falls head first to the ground. It's all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Xi Li!
