Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Ash (ranked 4609 p4p, 488 weight class) and Jordan Clarkson (ranked 4884 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tom Ash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jordan Clarkson! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Hirohito Nitta and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ash shoots in looking for a takedown but Clarkson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ash's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Clarkson has a takedown stuffed. A low kick from Ash is predictable there and Clarkson counters by clinching up. Clarkson gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Ash working for a triangle but Clarkson defends it easily.
Clarkson gets to his feet. Ash looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Clarkson clinches. Clarkson decides to pull guard. Clarkson keeping moving, preventing Ash from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clarkson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ash gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Ash trying to control but Clarkson is working from the bottom. Ash throws a big elbow that misses. Ash is fighting to break Clarkson's control of his arms but Clarkson is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Ash pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Clarkson is keeping the position for now. Ash looking to sit in guard and control but Clarkson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Clarkson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Ash wants to get back to his feet but Clarkson is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Clarkson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ash is keeping the position for now. Clarkson working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Ash is trying to keep Clarkson in close.

Clarkson stays in close to Ash's body and controls the position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Ash looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Ash throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Clarkson's waist but Clarkson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ash off to one side. Clarkson clinches up with Ash and pushes him back against the cage. Ash wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tom Ash. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ash tries to pull guard but Clarkson forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Clarkson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Ash pulls his leg out and moves away.
Ash ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Clarkson shoots in looking for a takedown. Ash tries to sprawl out of it but Clarkson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ash manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Ash tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Clarkson manages to circle out of the way. Clarkson dives in and grabs Ash's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ash pushes down on Clarkson's head and hops out. Clarkson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ash is fending him off so far but Clarkson persists. Nope, Ash circles away and we're back to standing. Clarkson looks winded! Ash fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ash shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Clarkson but Clarkson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ash sets himself, and Clarkson steps forward looking for the clinch! Ash avoids it this time. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Clarkson slaps away a takedown attempt from Ash, before circling back to the center of the mat. Clarkson throws a big counter head kick but Ash avoids it with no problem. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jordan Clarkson dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Clarkson throws a shot from downtown. Ash moves away and avoids it. Ash lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Ash throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Ash fails with a takedown attempt. Despite the aggression on Clarkson's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Ash closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ash jumps guard but Clarkson stands there with Ash around his waist. Ash gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Clarkson has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Clarkson manages to break the clinch.

Ash throws a series of punches but Clarkson moves out of range. Clarkson moves into the clinch. Clarkson breaks from the clinch.
Clarkson slaps away a takedown attempt from Ash, before circling back to the center of the mat. Clarkson tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Clarkson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ash shoots and misses and Clarkson counters with a nice uppercut. Clarkson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ash.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Clarkson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ash.
Jordan Clarkson seems to be getting the better of the standup. Ash fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Clarkson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ash's half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Clarkson performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Ash trying to control from the bottom.
Clarkson seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Ash has recovered full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clarkson stands up from Ash's guard - Clarkson perhaps looking for a knockout. Ash throws a lazy head kick and Clarkson counters with a lovely straight right hand! Clarkson moves into range and clinches up with Ash. Clarkson has Ash pressed against the cage, preventing Ash from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Clarkson works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Ash escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Clarkson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Clarkson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Clarkson stops Ash from standing up. Clarkson controlling from the top position. Ash looking to control but Clarkson passes into half guard.
Clarkson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ash tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jordan Clarkson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Ash shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Clarkson as he jumps to the side. Ash fails in his attempt to clinch. Clarkson feints the counter takedown. Clarkson drives through with a takedown into guard. Clarkson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Ash trying to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ash looking to hit a scissor sweep but Clarkson is one step ahead there. Clarkson stops Ash from standing up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clarkson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ash's guard. Clarkson stalling. Ash is trying to control but Clarkson passes into side control!
Clarkson is chipping away with strikes.
Clarkson works to advance to full mount. Ash defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ash is trying to escape the mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Clarkson looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Ash is looking to improve his position but Clarkson isn't that keen on the idea. Clarkson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Clarkson controlling the position easily from mount. Clarkson lands with some strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clarkson lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Ash is rocked! Ash defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Clarkson. Oh Ash is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Clarkson content just to control the position here. Clarkson is in the full mount, landing strikes. Clarkson postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Ash in real trouble here! The ref calls for Ash to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
