Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Bryant (ranked 3077 p4p, 297 weight class) and Vin Weasel (ranked 5145 p4p, 414 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bryant decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Weasel scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Bryant manages to mount him!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bryant won't let Weasel get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Bryant jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Weasel manages to avoid the submission attempt.
You can see the frustration on Weasel 's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Bryant tries for a kimura but Weasel is defending well.
Bryant remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Weasel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bryant's waist but Bryant gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Weasel off to one side.

Weasel dives in and grabs Bryant's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bryant pushes down on Weasel 's head and hops out.

Vin Weasel showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Bryant swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Vin Weasel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Weasel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
