Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lito Alcala (ranked 82 p4p, 8 weight class) and Kurt Verygood (ranked 163 p4p, 9 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Verygood's choice of entrance music: Bring Pain. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alcala throws a hook to the side of Verygood's head but Verygood sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Alcala pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Alcala fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Verygood manages to avoid it.
Verygood was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Verygood has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
