Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Uesugi Mochinori (ranked 998 p4p, 144 weight class) and Pedro Navas (ranked 2422 p4p, 307 weight class). Mochinori's entrance music is Japanese Battle Music. A fine choice. Uesugi Mochinori could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Pedro Navas's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid body kick from Mochinori.
Navas throws a leg kick
and Mochinori finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Navas misses with a left hand
letting Mochinori counter with a right hand.
Mochinori checks a leg kick.
Mochinori with a nice cross.
Navas looks to throw a body kick
and Mochinori cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Navas misses with a low kick.
Mochinori appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Navas misses with a hook to the body
and Mochinori counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Navas is rocked!
Mochinori is looking to land body kicks.
Navas tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Navas misses with a left hand
and Mochinori counters with a nice right hand that sends Navas toppling to the canvas! Navas scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Mochinori finish him?!
Navas is still on wobbly legs! Can Mochinori finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mochinori ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Navas's jaw. Navas's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Mochinori does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Uesugi Mochinori!
