Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vincenzo Lambrucci (ranked 2334 p4p, 290 weight class) and Dmitry Boitsov (ranked 2871 p4p, 344 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vincenzo Lambrucci! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dmitry Boitsov! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boitsov on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Lambrucci lands with a right hand. Boitsov waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Lambrucci. Lambrucci is looking for a counter combo. Boitsov's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lambrucci connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Boitsov scrambles back to his feet. Boitsov lands a jab to the head.
Boitsov tries to close the distance and clinch but Lambrucci swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Lambrucci connects with a right hand. Boitsov shakes it off. A right-left combo lands from Lambrucci. Lambrucci misses with a wild body shot. This has been an exciting period of action! A punch combination from Lambrucci misses. Lambrucci changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Boitsov looks to land a combination. Lambrucci sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Lambrucci throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Boitsov. It seemed like Boitsov was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Boitsov swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Lambrucci. Boitsov swinging wildly here.
Lambrucci went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Boitsov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Lambrucci. Boitsov does a little dance to reset his feet. Sloppy strikes from Boitsov. Those never looked like landing. Boitsov wants to clinch. Boitsov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Boitsov throws an overhand right that lands on Lambrucci's shoulder, as Lambrucci tries to avoid the shot. Lambrucci steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Boitsov. Lambrucci throws a hook but Boitsov avoids it easily. Lambrucci avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Lambrucci fails to land with a series of punches.
Lambrucci throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Boitsov gets the takedown into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boitsov tries to score with some ground and pound. Lambrucci controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Lambrucci is trying to control Boitsov's posture but Boitsov avoids it. Lambrucci is looking to regain half guard here but Boitsov keeps moving and retains side control. Boitsov working away. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Boitsov lands some shots froms side control. Boitsov creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Lambrucci sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Boitsov wants to control but Lambrucci is keeping him busy. Boitsov has an Americana. Lambrucci didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Boitsov is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Boitsov hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Dmitry Boitsov! Dmitry Boitsov decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
