Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamal Sloan (ranked 24675 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ludvig Dzhamshan (ranked 7141 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Ludvig Dzhamshan enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dzhamshan circles away quickly and effectively.
Dzhamshan drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Sloan defends it well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sloan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dzhamshan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Sloan is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Sloan looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dzhamshan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Dzhamshan drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Sloan manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dzhamshan has Sloan in his guard.

Dzhamshan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sloan manages to get himself to full guard.

Dzhamshan drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sloan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sloan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sloan!


Sloan stands up and beckons Dzhamshan to his feet.
Sloan lands a head kick. Dzhamshan smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Dzhamshan closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sloan to the mat! Sloan manages to get full guard.

Sloan scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Sloan closes the distance and pushes Dzhamshan back into the cage.
Sloan is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dzhamshan can do to turn this around?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sloan makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Sloan manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Dzhamshan keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Dzhamshan is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Sloan still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Sloan has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
