Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brandon Walker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
30 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bas Dekkers! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dekkers stuns Walker with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Walker slips under a jab from Dekkers. Dekkers takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Dekkers lands with a nice combination. Walker backs away looking to recover. Dekkers avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dekkers scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Dekkers walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Dekkers connects with a solid leg kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dekkers catches Walker napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Walker to the canvas!
Walker is rocked! Walker has an active guard here but Dekkers has managed to pass into half guard.

Walker lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage. Dekkers controlling the action here. Walker tries to roll over but Dekkers keeps him under control. Dekkers looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Walker seems to have got his legs back now. Walker makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Walker.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walker has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Dekkers is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Walker. Dekkers taking a breather here. Walker can't do much from the bottom here. Walker tries to buck Dekkers off but Dekkers is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Walker is trying to work for a sweep but Dekkers has mounted him!
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dekkers controlling the position easily from mount. Walker tries to hold on but Dekkers pushes him away. Dekkers controlling the position easily from mount. That's three minutes gone in the round. Walker looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Walker wants to escape the position.
Good control from Dekkers. Dekkers controlling well, preventing Walker from escaping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dekkers slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Dekkers is trying to stick to Walker's back but Walker is turning into Dekkers. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Dekkers's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Walker. Walker trying to control but Dekkers is working from the bottom. Walker throws a strike but Dekkers rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Walker can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dekkers controls the pace. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bas Dekkers dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A jab from Dekkers misses. Dekkers lands a lovely overhand right. Dekkers swings for the body but Walker moves out of range.
Walker uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dekkers.
Walker misses with a head kick.
Walker is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Dekkers will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Walker is looking to counter punch. Dekkers misses with a two punch combination.
Dekkers swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Walker. Walker misses with a left hand and Dekkers counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Walker misses with a low kick. Despite the aggression on Dekkers's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dekkers misses with a hook
and Walker counters with a nice uppercut. Bas Dekkers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Horrible takedown attempt by Walker or perhaps it was just good defense by Dekkers, which made it look bad. Walker looks to land a left hand but Dekkers moved out of range nicely. Walker wants to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walker shoots for a double leg takedown but Dekkers sprawls well. He's pushed Walker's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A head kick misses from Dekkers. Dekkers buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Walker uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dekkers. Dekkers connects with a jab. Dekkers looks to score with a jab to the body but Walker is just out of range. Walker avoids a kick to the body.
Walker throwing a counter right hand but Dekkers manages to avoid it. Donk. Dekkers catches Walker right on the button with a cross. Dekkers lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Walker falls backwards - clearly groggy! Dekkers dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bas Dekkers! Our winner, Bas Dekkers, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
