Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Avery Sosa (ranked 5065 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khabi Conor (ranked 4673 p4p, 0 weight class). Khabi Conor has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Avery Sosa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Khabi Conor! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Conor shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Conor was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Sosa tries to improve position but can't. Sosa wants to get back to his feet. Conor tries to advance to mount but Sosa denies him. Conor is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sosa knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Conor slows the pace down.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sosa is pushing Conor's head away, looking to escape. Conor manages to hold on to the position though. Conor cracks Sosa with a big right hand but Sosa just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Conor tries for a kimura but Sosa is defending well. Sosa might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Conor looks up at the clock and then as Sosa takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Conor smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Sosa pushes Conor away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Conor gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Conor remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Conor wants to stand but Sosa has his arm trapped. Sosa really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill... Conor looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Conor tries to move to mount but Sosa blocks the move with his legs. The referee asks Conor politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Conor prefers to stall for the moment though. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Conor looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Conor decides to stand up, so the ref orders Sosa to his feet. Conor closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sosa's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Conor with a nice head shot there. Sosa is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Conor is controlling him. Conor postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Conor scoring with punches to the head and body. Conor engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Conor throws an elbow that misses. Sosa uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Conor's guard. Nice move by Sosa!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Khabi Conor dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Conor shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sosa is trying to defend but Conor finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Sosa scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Conor manages to mount him!
Conor punishing his opponent with strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Conor content just to control the position here. Conor with the ground and pound from mount. Conor has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Conor postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Sosa badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Conor around the waist but Conor pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Conor is the winner by TKO! Conor jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Khabi Conor!
