Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dominic McNeill (ranked 4694 p4p, 489 weight class) and Dustin Brees (ranked 4721 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dustin Brees was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Dominic McNeill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dustin Brees! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McNeill darts in looking for a takedown but Brees gets double underhooks and turns McNeill into the cage. Brees shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. McNeill manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Brees seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. McNeill throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
McNeill looking for a sweep. Not yet McNeill, not yet. Brees really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McNeill. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Brees content to stall in guard here. Brees manages to get an easy takedown there - catching McNeill on his heels. He'll look to pass McNeill's guard now, I'm sure. Brees controls from within his opponent's guard. Brees has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Brees sitting in guard, not really doing much. McNeill trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
