Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dirkschneider throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dirkschneider closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dirkschneider lands in his opponent's guard.
Alvez is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Dirkschneider would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Dirkschneider is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dirkschneider stands and steps away. Alvez gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Dirkschneider lands a big head kick that sends Alvez tumbling to the mat! Dirkschneider takes a step backwards and waves Alvez back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Alvez is rocked!
It looks like Aaron Alvez has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dirkschneider throws a sloppy head kick and Alvez moves out of range easily.
Alvez drops down looking for a counter takedown but Dirkschneider sprawls and moves away.
Oh Alvez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dirkschneider connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Alvez to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Dirkschneider!
