The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aleksanyan is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Aleksanyan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bryant was well out of range. Poor timing from Aleksanyan.

Bryant fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Aleksanyan sprawls well initially but Bryant persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Aleksanyan flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Aleksanyan has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bryant is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Aleksanyan.

Bryant laying and praying for a moment but Aleksanyan takes advantage and regains half guard.
Aleksanyan wants to control but Bryant is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Aleksanyan makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Aleksanyan.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Aleksanyan holds on and takes a little breather.
Aleksanyan seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Bryant won't allow Aleksanyan to sweep him here.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Aleksanyan has his feet on Bryant's thighs here. He's pushed Bryant off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Bryant screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
