Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between darren pressley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Rage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rage throws a big shot that misses.
pressley closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - pressley lands in his opponent's guard.
Rage is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst pressley is controlling him.

pressley bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rage's guard.
Rage is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Rage is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Rage wants to sweep but no luck.
pressley cracks Rage with a solid left hand.
Rage isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. pressley stacks Rage on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by pressley!
pressley looks up at the clock and then as Rage takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, pressley smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Rage is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but pressley has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Rage is trying to escape the position but pressley is controlling the position.
pressley seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Rage for as long as he can get away with.

Rage chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before pressley can pounce on him.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. pressley connects with a nice short shot to Rage's temple.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Well, if pressley is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
pressley shoots in and drives through. Rage sprawls well.
pressley avoids the head kick by Rage.
Rage wants to clinch.

pressley shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than pressley was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for pressley, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
