Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Number 1. Winn has chosen Coolio - Gangsta's Paradise as his entrance music. Daniel Jones has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jerome Winn!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Winn gets the takedown into side control.
Jones tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Winn is putting a hurting on Jones here, landing some big shots from side control.
A lull in the action here as Winn stalls from top position.
Jones wants to get back to his feet but Winn drags him back down.
Jones is trying to escape the position but Winn is controlling the position.
Jones definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Winn has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Jones manages to work his way to half guard, despite Winn's best efforts.
Winn looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jones with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Winn is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Jones!
BOOM! Winn connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Jones is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

During a confident post fight interview, Jerome Winn thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
